The Barron Falls in Kuranda is where the Barron River plunges from the Cairns Coastal Highlands into Barron Gorge and thence across the coastal plain.The Falls are at their best during the wet season. There are walking tracks from Kuranda Resort to the Falls and they can also be seen from Skyrail and the Kuranda Railway.
